greetings Skyler's parents family and friends it is my honor to greet you on behalf of someone else this year has been one of Epic Proportions to the moment of the 6th grade Scholars this year differently in a very safe manner so I hope that you enjoy this video that highlights some of the historic events that have taken place this year thank you and enjoy this promotion halo diamond ring hello it's a great Guardian Scholars depart from Alameda to Junior our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure Starlite gorgeous child who are you not to be you are a child of God your playing small doesn't there's nothing in writing about drinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you we were born to make manifest the glory of God that is a dinner it's not just in some of us it's never one we let our own light shine we consciously give other people permission to do the same as we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates other if we all know the teachers have to get to the next grade level hello Solomon Elementary and the graduating class of 2021 you should be very proud of yourself today I had the opportunity in the pleasure of meeting you for the city of McCall the investigator for the District Attorney's Office serving and also the youth leader and musician at least I would Missionary Baptist Church I've been given this great honor to speak to you all today for this momentous occasion as I want to congratulate you for the awesome promotion I also want to congratulate you for waking up in Chanel when you didn't want to and what's wrong going the extra mile to study even after school I want to congratulate you for not giving up on your teachers your parents but especially for not giving up on you you are as addition now become Junior High School today I like to speak to you about being superheroes I'm sure many of you have figured over the years I've had many but as of late there's one that sticks out the most and that's the Black Panther the Black Panther was the played by the lady Chadwick Boseman anomaly is Chadwick Boseman the person I was blessed and honored to meet the Black Panther but I knew him before he was the Black Panther I knew him play the late James Brown Get on Up I was also blessed to be cast as Richie Griffin on a James Brown mini trumpet players on the stead of going up there were a few things that I noticed about Chadwick Boseman I thought that he had a relationship with God as my witness Mo says thing in many gospel song Tunes I can pre appreciate that because he was a movie star there were a couple more things that I noticed chat with Chad was count not just through his part but to those who hired him to play the part you would be in the right place at the right time with the right equipment and concentrate on the task set before him going to give a shout out to my band director Mr Robert big for them also put much effort into his car and makes brown I would know what is Chadwick in the corner facing the corner talking to him not knowing him that well I said to my girl and he's got crazy now perfectly just was a great for being put on display right before my eyes I knew what that moment was going to be something great mobility and his basic pool in the evening to pimple being Dependable through any situation in any circumstance imtiaz is going on in your fuel is not there to save the day then you can't count on them are you become superheroes your education you must understand is that I helped you become so that you will have the knowledge and wisdom it takes to make the right decisions when a situation or chaos arrival cool is your training ground for this very thing is just who superheroes our effort effort is defined as using physical and or mental energy to do something I want you to imagine Spider-Man lying in the bed beside his body sensors go off because someone is in trouble but he doesn't go back to sleep and wake me up in this kind of reality will be Scarywood these elements tend not to focus on being successful superhero the laser beam eyes capabilities or the ability to leap over tall buildings in a single bound not focusing on these elements causes us to mr. Heros there are around Within These elements such as dr. Ellis how about Crystal Washington what about each and every one of your teachers and School staff they have been accountable and have a great effort to make sure they feel excellent even through the challenges with covid-19 there, bility to you guys to make sure we're successful and guess what you guys go to the plate and work to the challenges of covid-19 and virtual learning as well because you were here to Daily Record and your accountability understand this school is preparing you for life everything you have to do to make it through the 6th grade all the hard work the waking up early will never go away it never gets easy I trust me I know it will just get more you have to to let this date Mark in your heart and in your mind did you conquer this level you will continue to comfort each and every other level I praise your way and know this. Gigi, put forth the effort and be accountable and watch God do the rest because he did it for me. Once you have completed another milestone Felicia Thomas your new principal at Deming Junior High we look forward to working with you this year and we are so excited to have you here at Junior High welcome welcome welcome class of 2028 Department we are excited to be patient but you we're rested upon this new journey in secondary education because they've given Junior High we are building champ we are chasing great sixth grade Scholars as you prepare to transition from Deming I hope that you use all the tools and has learned at Summit Elementary May everything that you take up and may your journey be one that prepares to be in this world I love you and last but not least remember to be optimistic congratulation 6th grade I pray that you have a very successful Journey at Denman
